What’s Happening in East Central Missouri May 4 – May 10, 2026

This week there’s ways to celebrate Mom with brunches, markets, and more. Then there are community festivals this weekend like Founders Day in Union and Miller’s Landing Day in New Haven. If you’re feeling crafty, there’s a create your own lightsaber event at the Washington Public Library, and a craft fair at the St. Clair KC Hall.

There’s also chances to hear free live music at Music on Main in Union, and the first Sunset on the Rails of the season in Pacific. Another free music event is the ECC Pops concert that brings together East Central College, The Pride of Washington High School, Saint Louis University, and Lindenwood University for a performance at the Washington Fairgrounds.

What’s Happening in East Central Missouri April 20 – April 26, 2026

It’s a big week for events around Franklin County, there’s community wide yard sales, flea market, and a vintage pop up market, plus farmers markets in Union and Pacific. The first Sunset on the Riverfront of the season happens this Thursday in Washington, plus annual events are happening this weekend like the WashMo BBQ & Bluesfest, and the P-Town Pub Crawl in Pacific.

There’s also line dancing, black light bingo, fundraising events, and the Franklin County Humane Society’s Strut Your Mutt event featuring a dog parade, contests, and more. Find out all the information about the events happening in Franklin County and nearby communities this week below.

Get ready Franklin County, we’re in for a week of exciting spring events and entertaining fundraisers! This week, you can spend an afternoon crafting at a local library, experience a “smart zoo,” take in live music, take part in DIY group classes like crafting nights or cookie decorating classes, and a whole lot more.

Looking ahead to the weekend, there’s community fundraisers, the 2026 Missouri Book Festival, a craft fair, a city wide yard sale, a roaring 20s themed pub crawl, plus there’s plenty of events happening within a short drive of Franklin County like wine tastings, a grandparents brunch, and a star-gazing event.

This week there’s plenty of events centered around plants – from a class on how to forage a wild pesto from your backyard, to a plant & sip event creating a potted flower, a community gardening event, and much more. For those who love trivia and bingo, there’s a black light bingo fundraiser, plus themed trivia nights that will test your knowledge on all things Marvel, Lord of the Rings, and Route 66 Centennial info.

There’s also community dances, a Cars & Coffee event, a pop-up BBQ event, a chance to watch kites dance in the wind at a local park, and a lot more!
